ABOUT ME

Pro-life, Fiscal Conservative,

Cheri Durst is a Christian, wife and mother. She is also a lifelong conservative Republican. Prior to relocating to Idaho, Cheri was the Vice President of the Eastside Republicans Club in Washington state.

Cheri grew up the daughter of missionaries in Kenya where she learned the importance of wise financial stewardship and supporting a culture of life.

Cheri believes that every office in Ada County should be led by strong, conservative leadership and that includes the the Coroner's Office.

Cheri is a problem solver and hard worker. She knows how to get things done and won't be afraid to ask the tough questions that need to be answered.

Cheri holds a bachelor's degree from Regent University and has previously been a licensed CNA.

Fiscal Conservative

The Coroner's Office plays a vital role in ensuring that proper causes of death are documented. During the pandemic, millions of dollars we given to hospitals for COVID deaths. A lack of due dillegence by the Coroner's Office meant taxpayers were on the hook for huge payouts. We must do better.

Pro-Life

When unborn babies die, it is critical we have a coroner who is willing to provide any documentation requested of them by the parents. As a pro-life Christian, Cheri will do so.
